Make ASSV a part of your yearly spring cleaning!  Designate your “gently used” items for donation to the Shelter’s annual fundraising auction. Over the past seven years our spring auction has become a Schoharie County tradition, and is the Shelter’s single largest annual fundraising event.  Our auctioneer is  Doug Cater of Michael’s Auction Service in Schoharie, now starting his 52nd year in the auction business, who makes every auction lively and fun.

A few of the items offered at our 2012 Fundraising Auction

We accept almost anything that is in good enough condition to be resold – furniture, working appliances, tools, kitchenware, glassware, artwork, collectibles, antiques, heirlooms, jewelry, bric-a-brac – however, please note we do not accept books, clothes,  old TVs, or preowned computers.

Our 2015 auction has already taken place, so please put us on your calendar for 2016.  Whether you donate goods or not, please plan on attending!  Many wonderful bargains and surprises turn up at our auctions, so plan on coming early for the auction preview, and staying late.

Please check back starting about 10 months from now for news of our 2016 auction.  Thank you for your support!
